Book Haul: The one where Clearance Sales are SUPER BAD…for my wallet!

October 12, 2015     Holly     Book Haul

Hi, I’m Holly and I have a control issue. And by control issue, I mean letting me walk into a book clearance sale where everything is $2 or less is a really bad idea and I cannot be blamed for the 20 books I brought home. Nope. Not my fault at all. Here’s a rundown of all the lovelies that found a new home in my library this past weekend:

20. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Other Tales by Washington Irving

A little side note on my Sleepy Hollow copy. It was originally gifted to someone in 1987 for Christmas by his grandparents, gathered from the nice little note left in its front pages. Honestly, I’m going to remain hopeful that this copy found its way into the clearance sale by mistake, and not because the giftee chose to sell it.

Anyway, there’s my book haul from this past weekend. I was going to write a little blurb about each book, but there’s just too many. So, take my word for it that I’m super excited to read each one, and I can’t wait to share with all of you my final thoughts.

In the meantime, please let me know if you’ve read any of these! I’d love to hear your opinions!
